Elk Grove Technology Park Build: Keeley Construction is proud to work with the Village and partners to bring their vision to fruition for one of the largest industrial parks in the United States. The site was previously farmland that had been explored as a potential stadium site for both the Cubs and the Bears, as well as for several industrial developments, but no deals were made. Once the mayor of Elk Grove and investment partners settled on a plan for the site, Keeley was chosen for construction. Keeley spent three years working with the developer and the village to plan 9 buildings ranging in square footage. Estimated completion of the build is 2021.
This modern, high-end industrial park is at the cutting edge of technology. With 1.2 million SF of high-image office space on 85 acres of net usable land, there are many speculative and build-to-suit opportunities. The sophisticated park will include cultured landscaping, sculptures, water features, and pedestrian walkways. Buildings will feature modern, pre-cast construction with high-end glass facades, cutting edge systems and fixtures, and 32’ ceiling clearances. The site features plenty of loading and parking areas. The Elk Grove Technology Park will meet the demand for modern facilities to house digital, clean manufacturing, robotics, data, and high-end industrial firms.
In 2017, Brennan Investment Group, a Chicago-based private real estate investment firm, partnered with the Village of Elk Grove, IL for one of the largest industrial infill opportunities ever undertaken. The Elk Grove Technology Park, an 85-acre infill development, was built to meet the demands of the top Chicago-area O’Hare market. The industrial leasing efforts are led by CBRE Group, Inc., the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm.
