Job Overview
Lead and direct onsite personnel and subcontractors in the planning, coordination, and execution of work with quality, safety, schedule and budget goals the priorities while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively plan, schedule, oversee, and manage onsite activities to ensure goals and schedules are met.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of plans, specifications, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents.
- Is proficient using Procore project management software.
- Proactively schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure completion of the project in accordance with the project schedule, budget and quality expectations.
- Manage material lead times and expediting to ensure they are available when needed.
- Monitor subcontractors’ work to ensure all applicable construction standards and codes, contract requirements, drawings, specifications, schedules, safety and quality standards are followed.
- Prepare accurate daily reports, safety inspections and production reports.
- Guide project to completion to ensure proper close-out and manage punch list process to ensure all items are addressed and executed in a timely manner.
- Drive Keeley’s safety culture. Comply with all safety policies, report suspected safety concerns, make recommendations for enhancements to the safety program, and actively support our strong safety culture.
- Other related duties.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field and appropriate experience successfully managing construction projects for a general contractor from conception to completion. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Design-build experience on relevant project types.
